At Aquamayne Swim Academy, safety is not a feature — it is the foundation of everything we do. These policies are designed to protect your child, respect every family’s time, and ensure that each lesson is focused, structured, and effective. Our goal is simple: create confident, capable swimmers through discipline, consistency, and trust. Please take a few minutes to read through everything below — it will ensure the best possible experience for your child. If you have any questions, we’re always a phone call away.
1. Who We Teach
We welcome swimmers ages 4 and up, including teens and adults. Whether your child is just getting comfortable in the water or you’re an adult ready to learn, you belong here. It’s never too late to build real confidence in the water.
Before your child’s first lesson, please inform us of any medical conditions, physical limitations, or allergies we should be aware of.
You can contact us at [email protected] or (951) 365-7925. The more we know, the better we can support your child in the water.
All students must be fully potty trained and able to go without pull-ups or diapers during the day before starting lessons. This is a non-negotiable health and safety requirement.
2. Our Lessons
Every lesson at Aquamayne is private and one-on-one. Your child receives the instructor’s full, undivided attention every session — no groups, no distractions.
Sessions are 15 minutes long. This is intentional. Short, highly focused lessons support faster skill retention — especially for younger swimmers. Every minute is structured for focus, repetition, and progress.
Our approach is simple: clear structure, consistent repetition, and real results over time.
Progress depends on consistency, participation, and comfort in the water.
All lessons take place in our private heated pool in Murrieta, CA. We maintain a calm, controlled environment where your child can focus fully on building skill and confidence.
Packages may be shared among siblings. Each lesson counts as one session, regardless of which child attends.
3. Scheduling & Arrival
Lessons are scheduled through our online calendar after payment is completed. Time slots are not held or reserved prior to payment.
This structure ensures a smooth, consistent experience for every family.
A parent or guardian must be present at all times during lessons for any student under 18. If a guardian is not present, the instructor reserves the right to cancel the session. The session will be charged.
Please arrive on time. Lessons end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival to ensure fairness to all families. Late arrivals do not extend the session. If another student is scheduled immediately after your time slot, only the remaining portion of your scheduled session can be provided.
What to bring: a swimsuit and a towel. Additional items will be recommended as your child progresses.
4. Cancellations & Make-Up Lessons
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full and counted as a completed session.
This policy protects the consistency your child needs to make real progress and ensures fairness for all families.
Make-up lessons are not guaranteed. However, when proper notice is given and an open time slot is available, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate a reschedule.
If we ever cancel a lesson for any reason, a make-up session will be provided at no charge.
Lessons continue during light rain. If lightning or thunder is present, the lesson will end immediately — no exceptions. Weather-related cancellations will always receive a make-up lesson.
5. Payments & Refunds
Full payment is required before any lesson slots can be scheduled. All purchases are final. By purchasing lessons or packages, you acknowledge and agree to all policies outlined in this document.
This structure allows us to maintain a consistent, focused schedule and deliver the highest quality instruction to every student.
We do not offer cash refunds for unused lessons. Unused lessons remain as account credit and do not expire as long as you remain an active client.
Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on the same date each month. A minimum of two billing cycles is required at signup. To cancel, written notice must be received at least 10 calendar days before your next billing date. Cancellations received after this window will result in one additional billing cycle. This policy is consistently enforced.
If a subscription is canceled, all unused lessons must be used within 30 days of the final payment. Lessons not used within that period will be forfeited.
We maintain a disciplined, respectful pool environment. Every rule below exists to protect your child and ensure a safe, focused experience for every student.
Safety and structure are what allow real confidence to develop in the water.
7. Liability Waiver
Swimming is a physical activity and carries inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury. By enrolling in lessons at Aquamayne Swim Academy, you acknowledge these risks and agree to hold Aquamayne Swim Academy, its owner, and its instructors harmless from any injury or accident that may occur during lessons or while on the premises.
In the event of a medical emergency during a lesson, you authorize Aquamayne Swim Academy to seek emergency medical care for your child and agree to be responsible for any associated costs.
You confirm that all known medical conditions, physical limitations, and health concerns have been disclosed prior to the first lesson.
We operate with a structured, safety-first approach designed to minimize risk and support every student’s success in the water.
This waiver is standard and required for participation.
Aquamayne Swim Academy may occasionally photograph or record lessons for use on our website, social media, or for training purposes. By enrolling, you grant permission for Aquamayne Swim Academy to use images or video that may include your child for these purposes.
If you prefer that your child not be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing at [email protected]. We will update your account immediately.
Parents who wish to photograph or record their own child’s lesson must receive prior approval from the instructor. Out of respect for the privacy of all families, capturing other students in any photo or video is not permitted without their guardian’s consent.
We are intentional about how we represent our students and protect the privacy of every family we serve.
Personal information you share with us — including your name, contact details, and relevant health information — is used solely to provide swim instruction and communicate with your family.
We do not sell, share, or distribute personal information to any third party.
Questions regarding your information may be directed to [email protected].
Your trust is something we take seriously — in the water and beyond it. We protect it with the same care and discipline we bring to every lesson.
By booking lessons with Aquamayne Swim Academy, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to all policies above. We appreciate you taking the time — it makes the experience better for your family and for every family we serve.
